Pain In The Stomach After Intake Of Amberen Tablets. Any Thoughts?
I was searching online to see if anyone else was experiencing the same symptoms as me when taking Amberen. I am 56 years old and started taking it about 40 days ago. I then found this website asking the same question. When I first took Ameren I noticed some pain in my belly but thought that maybe it was something else. But it continued every time I took them. I contacted Amberen and they kindly suggested that I open the capsules pouring into a glass of water or some yogurt. But that didn't change anything. I still get a pain. It is like my stomach is having a hard time digesting it. Any thoughts? No other problems with Amberen.

Amberen is composed of the following active ingredients: Ammonium succinate, Calcium disuccinate, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), Glycine, Magnesium disuccinate, Zinc disuccinate hydrate and vit D(tocopherol acetate). Your concern is stomach pain everytime you take Amberen capsule which is mostly regarded as safe product. But stomach upset may be caused by Calcium disuccinate, Monosodium Glutamate (MSG), Glycine, Magnesium disuccinate, Zinc disuccinate hydrate contents of Amberen. Monosodium Glutamate (MSG) is generally safe but is famous for its sensitivity reactions known as Chinese Restaurant Syndrome.
