Pain In Upper Arm, Spreading To Wrists, Joints, Pain In Chest. Cure For Symptoms?

I have recently started to get very bad pain in my upper arms in the muscle part. So bad that it hurts to move my arm. This started last Sunday and hasn't gotten any better. Also I am starting to get pain in my wrists and finger joints and last night I had such a bad pain in my chest, it felt like really bad heartburn.

Hi,
Thanks for writing in.

If you are having pain while initiating movement of arm, it is most likely due to compression of brachial plexus (nerve supply to arm). The nerve supply to the arm is from nerve roots C5-T1 via the brachial plexus. The nerves pass under the clavicle and end in the axilla. Compression of the nerves along its course at any place can elicit muscle pain. Please consult an orthopedician and take necessary treatment with anti inflammatory ointments, muscle relaxants and rest.

Hope this helps
