Pain In Upper Belly, Nausea, Clenching Of Jaw, Bitter Taste In Mouth, Chills. Why Is This Happening?

I ve has a pain in my upper belly region for about a week with a fair amount of nausea ..no vomiting though. ... Hi, I am feeling lightheaded, dizzy, slightly nauseous, more tired then usual, increased ... I have a very weird metallic taste in my mouth and I also have a strange clenching of the jaw ... Chills and bitter taste in mouth ...

hi... thanks for posting to healthcaremagic..
you are having fever, chills, pain abdomen, nausea,...
you could be suffering from enteric fever/hepatitis A...
see your physician for investigation and management..
you need you undergo the following tests.. Complete blood count, serum bilirubin, widal test, antibodies for hepatitis A and B...
if widal is positive, you need to put on antibiotics like fluoroquinolones/cephalosporins, and symptomatic treatment with antipyretics, antacids, antiemetics..
if liver is affected, then you should be put on liver protective drugs like silymarine and liver enzyme preparation and multivitamins..
see your physician for this..
