The pain after intercourse could be due to underlying pelvic inflammation. .so you need to take anti inflammatory medication for 2 to 3 days and get sn ultrasound done to find any cysts in ovary etc thats causing the pain....depot usually dont cause pain although menstrual cycle may become irregular due to that
