Painful Bump On Bikini Line, Lumps On Other Side. Burst With Blood, Clear Pus. What Could It Be ?
I'm a 43 year old female.... about 6 months ago I notice a painful bump on my bikini line. about 2 weeks later another lump appeared on the other side - same painful feeling. I thought it might be an ingrown hair so I ignored it. One of the lumps seems to have burst today. It was blood and clear puss. After looking closer.. I notice an very dark brown oblong shape under and around the area. Not sure what this could be? The one on the other side also had the same brownish color to it
Hi you probably have some infected dermoid cyst or sebaceous cyst on yourbikini line. if it has burst then you should clean it with pyodine and then apply some antibiotic . i usually prescribe mepirocin cream to my patients for relief of pain and inflammation you can have some NSAIDS like mefenemic acid or diclofenac but consult with your local doctor prior to starting any medication.if condition does not resolve then you get it examine and it can be excised.
