Painful Hand, In Line With Rib Cage, Parallel To Spine. Massaged Muscles, Not Helpful. What Can Help?

I have pain in a very specific area in my back on the right hand side, just in line with the bottom of the rib cage. I think it runs vertically, parallel to the spine. It's been there for over 3 weeks, does not get better or worse. Does not seem to be muscular as it does not improve with massaging the muscles, but this makes it worse.

hi
thanks for your query
as per your complain you have in a very specific area in your back on the right hand side, just in line with the bottom of the rib cage. you think it runs vertically, parallel to the spine. It's been there for over 3 weeks.

it is suggestive of some kind of infection below your right diaphragm which causes typical pain in lower part of rib cage and due to irritation of diaphram it causes refer pain to the right shoulder.
please get some investigation done
complete heamogram
ultrasonography of abdomen
chest x ray
causes of your pain
-infection of liver
hepetitis, liver abscess
-lung infection
pleural effusion
- Sleeping Positions
-spine problem
disc abnolmalties

if any query you can ask.

wish you good health

with best wishes
