Painful Head After Hearing A Pop. What Is It?

My 15 year old daughter was just sitting on the couch and talking to us when she grabbed her head and said she heard something pop on the top of her head and was experiencing pain on the top of her head. The pain only lasted seconds but brought her to tears . I m very concerned. She is acting fine now, thank God. What should I do? Thank you!

Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,
This type of severe excruciating headache should be evaluated further as some times this type of severe pains never experienced before may be associated with intracranial vascular anomalies.
So consult your Neurophysician for proper evaluation depending on the type of your child headache and neccessary investigations like neuroimaging if it is required.
Hope i have answered your query.
