Painful Hip, No Redness Or Swelling. Had Rocephin Injection In Hip. Why Would This Happen?

Daughter had rocephin injection in hip 1.5 days ago. Experienced severe leg pain almost immediately right below her butt cheek. Could barely walk out of Dr. office and in constant pain. Still not walking well and in severe pain. Injection sight is not red, warm or swollen. It was given in proper location. Please let me know how long this might last. My daughter is extremely frightened.

Thanks for the query to H.C.M. Forum.
Rocephin ( ceftrixone ) is a most potent anti bacterial drug.
This drug develops numbness , tingling sensation and pain at the site of injection.
Within next 2-3 days all these symptoms will disappear .
Need not to worry.
As she is feeling excruciating pain at the site of injection and in leg so give her serratiopeptidase + anti inflammatory tablet 1-1 only for 1 or 2 days.
Heparin cream will help as a local applicant.
Ice massage will also provide relief.
Rest is also good.
