Painful Lump On Chest, Trouble With Swallowing, Lumps On Thyroid. What It Could Be?

I woke up with a very painful lump on/in my chest yesterday morning. Its actually more between the breast area. You can't see the lump you have to feel it but it is pretty big probably 1.5 inch in diam. I am in the process of waiting for Endo app b/c I did not tell my pcp that I was having trouble with swallowing the last year & ultra has shown some ugly lumps on my thyroid. My dad just got done dealing with Thyroid Cancer. & Grandparents on both sides had it.. I was dx with TTP in 2009 so I have been coming back from kidney & Liver failuer also some other complications. Also have Lupus. I was just sick of being sick. Since this lump hurts so bad & it came up so fast what do you think it could be? There is no redness you can't see it you have to feel it? Can you get a blood clot in that area?

Welcome to HCM.The chances that it is a infected sebaceous cyst or a breast cyst(a painful fluid filled sac).Painful lumps are usually nonmalignant. It is unlikely to be a blood clot.
