Painful Marble Like Lumps All Over Body Under Skin. Help?

Hi. I have hundreds of marble like lumps all over my body under my skin that cause me excruciating pain. I don't sleep as the pressure is unbearable. I have had a vague diagnosis of Dercums which having read up on it there is no cure and very few doctors have even heard of it. Pain relief so,far is useless. Is there anyone that can confirm the diagnosis and help me please?

hello dear
thanks for your query at HCM
cause and mechanism of Dercum disease remains unknown.Possible etiologies include: nervous system dysfunction, mechanical pressure on nerves, adipose tissue dysfunction and trauma
A diagnosis of Dercum's disease is based on patient history and the physical findings. There are no specific laboratory test for this disease. Ultrasound and Magnetic Resonance Imaging can play a role in diagnosis.
regards
