Hi I had a miscarriage :/ my first born I kept going to the doctor cause I had a lot of bleeding after my baby passed out of me and they told me I had the sack still I waited and the bleeding stopped I waited 2 weeks after to have sex with my husband after the bleeding stopped and the one time we did it it hurt and it hurt to pee after I had think clots that were light pink came out and I have an awful odor I'm starting to get scared what could it be?

I am so sorry to hear about what you have been experiencing. For some reasons, I suspect you never had appropriate medical care after this miscarriage. Incomplete abortion is treated with curettage or aspiration of uterine content to stop bleeding and prevent complications like infections and hemorrhage. Waiting has never been the standard of care.

That said, given the current symptoms you are experiencing, I am afraid you have an infection. It could most likely be a genital (infection of the uterus) and the genital tract or a urinary tract infection. Only a well conducted interrogation, physical exam and testing would be able to tell what the exact cause is.

Please, talk with your OBGYN as soon as possibleand get this looked into. It is going to be of great help to you.
