Painful, White Spot On Frenulum Under Tongue And Difficulty In Having Food. What Could Be The Reason?

I have a white spot on my frenulum under my tongue (stretchy part). It is very painful and almost feels as if it could be an ulcer of some sort. It has gotten a little bigger over night. It is not a bump, so it won't pop. It's just a white circle spot. I keep scratching at it, but it just bleeds. I have been gargling with salt water and applying Blistex on it to make it feel better. It hurts to eat anything as well. What exactly is this white spot and how could I have gotten it? I've had it for 3 days now and just want it to go away.

Hi, thank you for sharing your problem on healthcaremagic.
Actually the type of white spot you are mentioning that it is a white circle, became bigger overnight, painful and hurts to eat anything it looks that it is an aphthous ulcer. There is nothing to worry about it because occurs very commonly it can be because of stress, stomach problem etc. Please do not scratch it otherwise it will become bigger. It will take at least 1 week to heal. For relief you just apply mucopain three times daily on it.
But if it takes time to heal better you visit a dentist nearby.
