What Causes Painful White Spot On Lingual Frenulum?
Hi I woke up this morning with a white spot on my frenulum lingual. This white spot is higher up, closer to my tongue. Below it, still on my frenulum lingual is two much larger bumps. One on either side. They are uncomfortable, and somewhat painful. I have no idea what it could be. Any ideas?
As per your query you have white spots on lingual frenulum of tongue which occurs mainly because of irritation with rough food substances. Type of discomfort you are mentioning that your mouth is painful and there are bumps on your tongue, it is the starting of Aphthous ulcer.
As it first starts with discomfort and soreness and then progresses to an bump or spot which is whitish in color and painful.
No need to worry observe the lesion wait for 3-4 days and apply Dologel ointment 3 times a day. Apply aloe vera gel or tea tree oil on cotton swab and put it on bumps for 5-10 minutes three times a day. Mucopain gel is also very effective for this.
If does not heals after that also then you visit a dentist nearby who can thoroughly examine the lesion and get it biopsied to find out exact etiology and can start treatment accordingly.
Hope your concern has been resolved.
