Paler Skin On Top Of Eyebrows, Itchy. What Could Be This?

Hi i have a paler skin around my top part of the eyebrows. Only noticed in 2 months. Ignored it before. It is really light. They almost outline the top of the eyebrows. It can get itchy too especially at the ends. I don't use make up only a rare mascara and never had my eyebrows done or plucked. I am worried and don't know what it is. Looks like exma but isn't. :-(

Dermatologist 's  Response
hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
From the description it sounds like eczema only. There is a variant of eczema known as seborrheic dermatitis which can involve the eyebrow and eye lid area.
I would advise you to apply a mild steroid cream like hydrocortisone cream over affected area and take tablet cetirizine for few days. Get back to us for follow after few days.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Kalpana Pathak
