Panic Attack, High Sugar, Depression After Taking Citalopram For IBS. Advice?
My wife took one 20mg of citalopram and during this time she has now panic attacks, her sugars are uncontrollable, she feels depressed with no energy. Its been a month and a half and she still is having these same symptoms.
This all started when she felt her hair was thinning and she went to her practitioner and for some reason her IBS was discussed and her doctor wrote a script for citalopram. Now she is on the edge of keto acidosis.
I dont know what to do for her

Hi, it appears that she might be having the side effects of the citalopram, You should immediately stop the citalopram, the side effects will automatically subside.
The rise in the blood sugar may be there since long, and it is seen now. For this, i advise you to consult a physician for diagnosis and treatment.
