I ve been getting this a lot where my body and head arent in the same room almost like I m a camcorder just looking around at everything, I dont feel real, when people talk to me my mind goes blank and i switch off and come out with yeah & ah okai when i respond. My paranoia is getting worse I have a fear of everything like bad things will happen if I do certain things is this normal for people with depression or is it a kind of disorder? Hi,

The camcorder like feeling that you are experiencing is called derealization-depersonalization and is related to your OCD and depression. The fear of bad things happening if certain activities are done is another symptom of OCD. In my opinion, you should see a psychiatrist if possible, and get adequate treatment for OCD and depression. Medications like SSRIs (fluoxetine, fluvoxamine etc) get very good results in both OCD and depression and will also improve the derealization-depersonalization symptoms. You also have the option of behavior therapy to control OCD.

Hope this helps you. Best wishes.
