Passes Wind, Makes Noice While Feeding. What Is The Treatment?
Hi... My baby is 2 months old . She passes lot of wind and sometimes makes sound while feeding(she is both breast and bottle fed). She is not able to lie on her back and sleeps only when we carry her. I suspected it to be silent reflux and informed our ped . He asked us to give Jr Lanzol for 1 week, but there is no much improvement. Is there any side effects with Jr.Lanzol and what will be the best remedy for silent reflux

Passes Wind, Makes Noice While Feeding. What Is The Treatment?
Hi, Thank you for your query on Healthcare Magic. Passing wind in infants is commom due to intake of air along with the feeds and due to the process of the digestion. For wind problem, burp the child after each feeding and oral drops like neopetine can be given orally after the prescription from your doctor. This drops will help to decrease the wind and associated discomfort. Junior lanzole is safer in infants and can be continued as per your doctor advise. For reflux I advise : Give small quantity feeds more frequently Burp the child after each feed. Hold the child in upright position for 10 to 15 minutes after feeds. Hope I have answered your query. Regards.
