Patches Of Dark Brown Skin On Both The Buttocks, Hyperpigmentation. Solution?

Hi, I was wondering if you could answer a question regarding my skin, specifically around the buttocks. I'm not sure how long I have had this but in the lower area of my buttocks, where they curve inward, there are large patches of dark brown skin on both cheeks. The rest of my buttocks is the same as the rest of my body which is a light tan. I have also noticed some hyper pigmentation spots around the cheeks of my buttocks. If it would do any help, I am of Asian ethnicity and have naturally light olive skin, with a hint of tan. I was wondering if you know what could have caused this and how I can cure it?
