Patches Of Itchy, Dry Skin On Midriff, Arms, Legs. Scaly, Itchy Scalp. What To Do?

I have had a skin condiityon for a year now and goine to a dermatologist. and I am told it is dry skin. the meds don't work. I have patches of skin the itch BADLY> on arms, legs, back . also have "thinhgs" on my midriff, arms, legs which look sort of like a pimple but arenot..they are hard and just wont go away. Now I have a very scaly and itchy scalp. Where do I s\tart????

Hello,
Thanks for the query.
Probably you are suffering from seborrheic dermatitis.
Itching of scalp and area containing lot of sebaceous glands are affected in this condition.
Use an antifungal shampoo like ketoconazole.
