Pelvic Pain, Prolonged Bleeding. Is This Serious?

Hi, I was in an abusive relationship years ago and never got medical attention. I have suffered from chronic pelvic pain for years, but its got a lot worse inlast few months. Also, I have been bleeding for over 2 months, but the bleeding has got really heavy in last week and the last few days as as bad as when the assault happened if not worse. I'm scared to go to the doctors. Is this serious?

hi,
thanx for the query.
well your chronic pain may be due to the assault which happened as it might have caused tears and the ligaments must have weakened.
well secondly if you are bleeding heavily i suggest u to see a gynaec and get a scan done to see for fibroids and polyps.
it might be hormonal imbalance which blood test will show.
u might require d7 c and endometrial sampling will help to reach root cause of problem.byeeee.
