Penis Head Has Had Small Red Blotches During Erection, Tip Burns When It Retracts, Tiny Pimples. Diagnosed For Intertrigo And Given Nyastatin Powder. Suggestion?
Hi, My penis head has had small red blotches on it after and during an erection. When flaccid my penis retracts into my pubic area and the tip burns a little bit. There are usually very small red pimples, too small to really see unless erect. I went to a dermatologist whom stated it was intertrigo and gave me nyastatin powder, but ive used that for 6 days and nothing has changed. I see him again tomorrow, any ideas?
Hi, Welcome to HCM. Such a sort of eruptions over Glans penis is indicating that it got inflamed mildly either due to infection like yeast or due to some irritation like soaps or antiseptic lotions or creams. If it is due infection your sex partner also is to be treated. If it is due to irritations simple and frequent wash with water will be sufficient. You once again meet your Dermatologist and this time his guidance will be very helpful to you. Dr S.Murugan
