Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Per ultrasound study - I have a 5.3 x 3.8 x 3.9 cm ill defined anechoic area in the right lobe of the liver. I've been having pain in the same area where my gall bladder was. The gall bladder was removed in August. From the ct scan with contrast - the liver demonstrates a .9x.6 cm hypodensity in the subcapsular aspect of the anterior inferior segment of the right lobe. A cyst is a possibility. Is there reason to be concerned?
