Persisting Red Spot On The Chest, Not Itchy, Painful On Cologne Spray
I have a red spot on the center of my chest , at the lower sternum, in the shape of a 2 1/2 football(american). It is not itchy. It was painful once when I sprayed cologne, but only that one time. I have had this spot for 2 weeks. It is NOT a sunburn , but it does resemble a chemical burn which did not spill anything on that area. What could it be?
The rash could be allergic or infective in origin,The best way to assess is by taking a dose of antihistaminics like Benadryl.
If you see the lesion is getting down with the dose then it confirms that it could be due to allergy.
Do apply calamine lotion over the lesion for early recovery.
