Dear Sir

How are you and your wife? I hope well. Piles or hemorrhoids occur due to excessive pressure on the rectal veins due to which they get enlarged and weak to an extent that they start bleeding. Risk Factors for this are , chronic constipation or cough, excessive straining and family history. What I would suggest is that you see a surgeon, they will perform a Digital rectal exam and endoscopy to confirm the diagnosis. After which you can opt for two treatment methods 1: Surgical, hemorrhoidectomy. 2: rubber band ligation and coagulation or sclero therapy.
You can initially try high fiber diet, taking lots of fluids, hemorrhoidal creams and suppositories, ice packs and sitting in warm water bath for 10-15 minutes every day.

I hope I have answered your question. If you have any more questions please feel free to contact me.

Thank you and Take care of yourself and your wife
