I have a pilonidal cyst thing i think, not 100%, i have been to my doctor and he gave me some anti-biotics, that was about 6 months ago, is there any cream or any way of treating it without surgery as i cant have the time off work and i am scared i will be unable to work fora few weeks after. i just need some help it is making me depressed. thanks Ben
The treatment for a pilonidal cyst is surgery. But if the lesion is small and uninfected then primary closure of the wound can be done . This will not necessitate abscence from work.
