Pimple Like Lumps In Shaft And Public Hair. Used Hair Removal Cream, Sexually Active. Is This An STD?

I am a 22 year old male and I am experiencing some abnormalities with my penis, I used hair removal cream "down there" a while ago and ever since I have had pimple like lumps on my shaft and in my public hair, it gets irritating but being sexually active I'm worried that it's not the hair removal cream but a sti such as a hpv, I'm concerned my sex life is over.

Hi,

Pimple like bumps on shaft of penis and on pubic area may be molluscum contagiosum. It is a viral infection caused by pox virus. It is considered to be STD. As it is contagious, it should be treated immediately. After few blood tests to rule out HIV,DM and other internal diseases, electrocautery may be done by expert. It is an OPD procedure done under local anaesthesia. For that you consult dermatologist. I hope you got my answer.
Thanks.
