Pimples On Butt. How To Get Rid Off It?

This is embarrassing. But i've had pimples on my butt before, because i am very active and the amount i sweat just causes them. But i always take care of them, and get rid of them. Now I've gotten what I think are pimples but they aren't going away, and I just keep sweating and there's probably 10 all together, But it seems to me they are getting worse, Is there anything I can do to get ride of them, Or are they not pimples, I've googled some things and it says it could be genital warts and I'm just worried. Can I myself look at them and tell if they are pimples or something else?

Hi,
Welcome and thanks for posting your query to Healthcare Magic.

After reading your query there are three possibilities of the problem:
1. Molluscum contagiosum: It appears as bead or pearl like structure caused by viral infection.
2. Viral warts: This appears as thorn like or pointed structure again cause by virus but of different type than Molluscum contagiosum.
3. Folliculitis or acne form eruptions: These appears as simple skin colored beads with slight redness and itching over it. Formed due to blockage and infection of hair root and oil glands.

All the above conditions are quite simple to treat and are not at all serious. The first two can be treated by simple cauterization and the last one by certain cream application. For the best of the diagnosis you can upload your picture and can ask direct query to our forum or can meet a dermatologist.

In between kindly do not pinch, pop or squeeze the area as there are chances of further spreading.
