Hi, since morning I am having a strange sensation of a pin pricking in the deep right side of my throat . It pains a little too..but just dull pain, not sharp. It is not their when I eat/ drink or swallow anything including saliva . Infact its almost gone then. but otherwise its a constant prick which only get better with swallowing . Why is this happening? Does it warrant a visit to a Doctor? Please advise.
it could be just a transient dysfunction of the eustachian tube with a referred pain to the throat,
what you require is just some saline gargling, steam inhalation and valsalva manouevere, if your pain doesn't subside get your throat examined by an otolaryngologist.
valsalva can be learnt through the video demo in net
regards
