Pink Vomit, Weight Gain, Stomach Pain. Switched To Sprintec, Taken Prednisone. Pregnant?
for my girlfriend: what would you say about a light pink vomit, gaining 10 lbs in a month. and stomach always hurting when hungry or not? she thinks she could be pregnant is not for sure. her last cycle was almost a month ago and should be coming next week. she has just switched birth control medication to sprintec and started taking prednisone about 3 weeks ago. starting off with what seems to be a very high does of the prednisone. 6 tablets by mouth every day for 3 days. now she is taking one a day. the pink vomit just occured today at work and i am worried about her. i think all of this is from the medication but any feedback would be helpful. thank you

Pregnancy can be easily ruled out by pregnacy test,but pink vomiting may indicate stomach ulcer or bleeding so she should do gastroscopy to evaluate stomach condition and take antiacid medicine if necessary. YOu didnt mention why is she taking prednisone, but it may cause symptoms she is experiencing as well.
