Pinkish Blood, Yellow Green Phlegm On Blowing Nose. History Of Smoking. Treatment?
i have phenomena and have had for about a month now and just over the last few days i thought i was starting to finally feel better but now when i blow my nose there is a mix of PINKISH BLOOD n green n OR yellow phloem .... why? is that bad? do i need to go back to doctor? and should i mention that i am a smoker and this is my second time this year having phenomena.... PLS HELP
Smokers are at a higher risk of developing pneumonia as smoking damages the defenses of the lung against bacteria. Presence of greenish yellow phlegm with traces of blood indicates the presence of infection in your lungs, more so, if you are also having other symptoms like fever. Please see your doctor again so that he can thoroughly examine you. Also consider quitting smoking or at least cut down as much as you can.
