Pins Pricking Throughout Body Upto Neck. Heart Tests Negative. But Attacks Repeating. Recommendations?
Hi Samuel... my husband has just been out fishing and had a turn while out on the boat. He has had one before and I called and ambulance and he had full heart tests and all was clear. He had had a few glasses of red wine last night, left at 3am this am then took a Kwells sea sickness pill when things got rough. He started getting pins and needles that went all the way up his body to around his neck and felt really unwell. His friends brought him home and he said it was exactly the same a last time.
Was an event monitoring done - to analyse heart rhythm? It could be allergy Or Transient Ischemic Attack (TIA) – reduction of blood supply to parts of brain... You have not stated his personal habits, family history, or co-morbidities, even age...which could have an influence on the diagnosis and outcome... He should be seen by a Neurologist...He may need more investigations...
Take care Wishing speedy recovery God bless Good luck
