Planning For Baby. TSH 9.2, Missed Period. Prescribed Deviry. Pregnancy Test Negative. What Can Be Done?

Hi, i am 28 year female got married in 2011.We are trying for conceiving from last year but couldn't success. I have been go through certain test in april 2013 my TSH was 5.8,prolactin 23.59, Hb-11,suagr level in fasting was 74,esr was 10 and ultrasound was normal.My gyne/ob put me on 12.5 mcg thyronorm from april 30 2013 but last week i had again test my TSH it was 9.2 surprised and my period are missed from May 1 to tiil date.my doc gave me deviry for 5 days. very worried what could be reason behind it..I had done 6 time home pregnancy test its showing negative. last week i had done urine and blood test in lab it was also negative.Please give me any suggestion.

hi... you have hypothyriodism, you have put on thyroxin supplementation.. inspite of it your TSH has increased... did you get investigated in the same lab? if not see your endocrinologist for the further investigation and management.. all the best..

Hi
You have elevated levels of TSH(thyroid stimulating hormone)..that means you are suffering from hypothyroidism..
In-spite of taking thyronorm 12.5 mcg tab your TSH level is still high..that means you are using insufficient dose or the results faulty..
where do the 2 tests did,,in the same lab or different lab..try to test the thyroid levels in the same lab..
Deviry tab is given to regularise your periods..
Consult general surgeon for titrating the dose,before that take another test in the verified lab..
