Hi. Thanks for Healthcare Magic.
The most common type of hand injury in soccer game is anterior dislocation of shoulder. Occurs due to a direct violence by a player on the back of the shoulder. As you have mentioned, you will not be able to move your hand close to the body or put your hand on an opposite person's shoulder.
The shoulder joint easily gets dislocated by trauma or by sudden direct force. The head of the shoulder usually slips in to the muscle cushion. X-Ray is diagnostic. You should consult an orthopedician immediately for confirmation of diagnosis. Fresh dislocations can be reduced immediately.
If confirmed, the dislocation can be easily reduced to it's original place and the arm will be strapped with a cuff and collar for 3 weeks. If you delay, the reduction becomes difficult due to soft tissue contracture. You may have to miss your select club team practice for three weeks. Take analgesic and anti inflammatory drug like Aceclofenac to reduce the pain and inflammation.
I hope this is useful to you.

Hi, Well first of all when did this pain start? Did you recently have some kind of injury while playing? If you're pain is so bad that you cant even move your shoulder, that is right away a bad sign. Go to a doctor and get a check up as soon as possible and avoid any kind of strain on your affected arm. It could be that you fractured your arm or it can also be that you ruptured or strained a ligament. As such get a check as soon as possible, without any delays. I hope this answered your question
