Hello,

An MRI lumbar spine and uric acid levels need to be checked. As a burning sensation in the feet can be due to increased uric acid levels and numbness due to nerve root entrapment in the lumbar spine.

The medicines are given as a symptomatic relief which can help reduce the symptoms.

Also, I will advise getting the above test done which can help you understand the underlying pathology.

Treatment part - continue the medication, do exercise to improve the core muscles, spinal muscle strengthening exercises, hip muscle strengthening exercises, lower limb strengthening exercises.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
