Please Suggest A Remedy For Painful Lump Formation In The Groin Area.
hello, im not sure whats wrong with me, i have a lump in an oval shape thats slightly hard and its in the groin area. it hurts to touch as if im pinching a nerver but it itches around the lump. and its slightly purple. But it keeps growing in size but doesnt form a head. i feel like puss is building up and i have try to pop it but it wont instead only put me in more pain. I do have a history of mersa, had 3 different occasions with it appearing and was told by the doctor that its in my blood. I dont know if that information factors into my situatuion. i just wondering what it is that I have and what this lump of mass ???
noted history of painful lump in the groin area. it may be a cystic formation (sebaceous or keratinous type). abscess must also be ruled-out. it is best if you consult with a doctor, preferably a general surgeon, for physical examination and clinical evaluation. diagnostics and management (medical and/or surgical if indications are found) will be directed as needed. if it is indeed a cystic formation, recurrent type, complete surgical excision of the cyst (including the wall) is best to decrease the rate of recurrence. proper antibiotic regimen will be prescribed accordingly.
hope this helps.
good day!!
