Pop In Knee, Underwent Surgeries Earlier, Pain. What Could Have Happened?
Hi. I was reaching for a remote while laying in bed. I heard a pop in my knee and felt something on the side /back of my knee. I m walking fine and only find pain with different tasks, like kicking some steps down the stairs but not all of the time. I just did this last night. I am a little frightened because I ve had many surgeries and one big one on my other knee. I don t see any swelling and just think I tweaked it a little but nothing serious. I m asking because I ve had major injuries that required surgeries and I didn t even know it. Any time I start to feel pain or discomfort, I now get a little panicked. Thanks for any advice/help that you are able to provide.
You had already got operated on one knee. Now you are experiencing problem with the other knee. This is sign of arthritis of the normal knee due to excess weight bearing on the normal knee. In the early stages rest and physiotherapy will work. X ray to evaluate the knee for any arthritis or any loose body may be required.
