Popping My Knuckles For A Long Time. Joints Is Larger & Hands Hurt Now. Any Herbal Supplements To Reduce The Joint Swelling?
Shayla McCartney I have been popping my knuckles for a long time. over time the joints have gotten larger and my hands hurt everyday. I have not yet been diagnosed as having any type of arthritis so far, but I know that my hands hurt bad. I am just wondering if there are any exercises I can do to relieve pain or any herbal supplements to reduce the joint swelling. thanks, Shayla 4:10 PM
if your R.A. test is negative then dont worry your pain would calm down soon.
to reduce swelling you can take, 1.Gokshuradi guggulu 2 tbs twice a day 2.kaishor guggulu 2 tbs twice a day 3.punarnavashtak kasay 2 tsf with half cup of water (all these are purely herbal/ ayurvedic medicines) also , 4.take some mild laxative 5.avoid spicy food, deep fried food, cold drinks 6.avoid excess consumption of water 7.avoid red meat 8.if possible take warm water whenever you want to drink
Hi First of stop popping your knuckles, it is maniac disorder, and does not prove any thing good,,try hot water fermentation,, lots of herbal preparation are there but all need clinical examination. Have good day
1. popping of knuckles itself is harmless unless done continuously so as to stretch ligaments resulting in pain, swollen joints, damaged soft tissues, reduced hand grip. 2. till date no scientific evidence/study indicates relationship between popping of knuckles and development of arthritis. 3. massage with Vishgarbh or saindhava tail on affected joints is beneficial and thereafter apply shatpushpadi lepa. 4. as Vitamin C reduces skeletal pain, thus orange juice, lime juice, amla (indian gooseberry) is beneficial. 5. . mahayograj guggulu 500 mg agnitundi vati 500mg mall sindur 250 mg aamvatari ras 250 mg thrice a day with honey
. dashmoolarishta 20ml+ ashwagandharishta 20ml after meals.
HI WELCOME TO HCM AND THANKS FOR YOUR QUERY POPPING OR CRACKING KNUCKLES BECOMES A PART OF HABIT SLOW BY SLOW THERE HAVE BEEN EXTENSIVE RESEARCH FOR FINDING ANY RELATION OF ARTHRITIS AND KNUCKLE CRACKING AND CONCLUSION WAS THAT HABITUAL KNUCKLE CRACKING DOES NOT PRODUCE ARTHRITIS http://www.jabfm.org/content/24/2/169 BUT IN SOME CASES THIS POPPING MAY LEAD TO SWELLING AND PAIN AND REDUCED GRIP POWER SO BETTER TRY TO SHUN THIS CRACKING HABIT , AND GO FOR X RAY OF HANDS , IF NOTHING IS DETECTED RADIOLOGICALY NOTHING TO WORRY , HOW EVER IT WOULD BE MORE BETTER IF SOME BLOOD INVESTIGATION LIKE SERUM URIC ACID , RA FACTOR , ESR . C- REACTIVE PROTIEN IS ALSO PERFORMED WISH YOU GOOD HEALTH DR SHAILENDRA NAITHANI MD [ AYURVEDA]
