Popping Sound And Tingling In The Head, Headache. Due To Sinus Problem?
I felt a pop in my head followed by a very bad headache about 3 days ago. It went away and then today I was doing a few pushups and I felt that exact same head pain in the same area followed by a warm tingling feeling in my head toward the top from part of my head. Is this a serious thing or can it be due to sinus issues from allergies? It is algery time and I am having allergy symptoms too.
Hello, Yes this could be because of allergic disease. You must consult an ENT specialist and get done --CT scan of nose and para nasal sinuses. To see for the condition of sinuses and so that if there is disease in the sinuses can be ruled out,if there is anatomic problem so that can be treated surgically. As ,when there is anatomic abnormality like deviated nasal septum then the air flow is not proper in both the nasal cavities and there is turbulence in the air flow so the skin gets irritated and may lead to allergic reactions. So get examined and plan further management.
