Popping Sound From The Shoulders. Had An Orthopedic Repair Surgery. Is It Totally Healed?

i had an arthopedic bankart repair on my left shoulder 3 month ago using 3 anchors. i gained or reached 80% of my normal range of motion after 2 and half month through my PT except a very small limtiation in the external rotation which is not a big deal. my whole concern is that i am suffering from frequent pops during a specific motion which is in shoulder flexion from behind my head straight forward. another problem is that i feel a pain every time i press my hand on posterior part and it increase till it pop as i press more and i am really scared about that. one last thing the pain is not constant. i mean it is an unstable pain as sometimes i feel myself totally healed ; however the pain came back later even without any load and i fell that happen every time i masturbate. do that even relate ? thank you

Hi welcome to Health care magic forum.
Thanks for calling H.C.M.Forum.
You had ortopedic blanket repair operation on left shoulder, 3 months ago, using 3 anchors. Had 80% relief of movement after 2.5 months thrugh P.T. You are getting frequent pops, during specific motion like flexion, pain on pressing on back.
Some restrictions will be there with every orthopedic operation.
it needs to be corrected by working, and physiotherapy. the time taken will depend upon the tissues around the shoulder.
I advise you to consult your surgeon for follow up.Avoid taking potato, other tubers, tomato, egg, chicken, and sea foods, till you get full movement.
Don't worry you will be fine soon.
Best regards.

Hi there ~

I understand your concern. I am sure you have questions about masturbation that you think is related to your orthopedic condition. However, I want to reassure you that the urge to masturbate is a normal physiological condition and that you will have no problems doing so on a routine basis. I will also let you know that there is no relationship between masturbation and your orthopedic condition. However please consult an orthopedician about the kinds of activities you can get involved in. I hope this helps.

Take care and have a lovely day!
