Post Coital Test Done. Any Suggestion?

recently we have conducted a test namely post coital. report has come.. report is telling that.. a) number of spermatozoa-4-5/HPF b) Not a single sperm is motile. c) All are atypical in shape, most have globular head, long tail. i have also done my semen analysis test. my sperm count is 78 million/ml. 70% is motile. morphology of sperm is 60% is normal. We could not understand the post coital test report. please help us.

A postcoital test is done to check a woman's cervical mucus after sex to see whether sperm are present and moving normally.

This test is done if a woman is not able to become pregnant and other tests have not found a relevant cause.

Dead sperm mean that the cervical mucus has problems that affect the sperm or that your partner has developed antibodies against the sperm.

This is called immunological infertility.

Please consult your Gynaecologist for further care and management.
