Pre Menstrual Glucose Levels For Non Diabetics. Should I Be Concerned ?

My wife s period begins in 1 or 2 days. Her blood glucose level on a fasting test was 185 this morning. Should she be concerned? She is 48 years old

FBS >126mg/dl,PPBS>200MG/DL IS INDICATIVE OF DIABETES ,KINDLY DO FBS AND PPBS WITH 75GMS GLUCOSE IF THE VALUES ARE MORE THAN ABOVE SSAID BLOOD SUGAR LEVELS IT SUGGESTIVE OF DIABETES KINDLY TAKE PROPER MEDICATIONS FOR PREVENTION OF COMPLICATIONS.

Sometimes sugars could be high due to body stress in premenstrual period, but I don't think its much of a significance here. Please get her Fasting, Post meal glucose done along with Hba1c. That should help the diagnosis.
