Precautions And Treatment To Be Taken For Frequent Exposure To Cold Leading To Running Nose, Fever And Cough
Please advice precautions and the treatment as I being a 64 yrs old man frequently faces exposures to cold hence running nose, fever and cough etc with body pain. Interesting part of me is that after exposure the body responses quickly to the early treatment but later it becomes too slow, making me to suffer even for a month with sore throat and general weakness and some times acute cough too. Thanks
This is a common phenomenon which everyone suffer. First of all avoid frequent exposure to cold weather. If you can't avoid try wearing a woolen sweater or a jerkin n woolen monkey cap. In such conditions take e tablet of cetrizine 10mg at night for about 5 days n if u have stuffy nose tskr a decongestant tablet like tab medlar or tab hatric 2-3 times a day n try taking lemon juice with out ice as the vitamin c in it has anticold properties n boosts up ur immunity. If this problem still persists contact an Ent surgeon as u may be suffering from allergic rhinitis for which u have good medicines.
