Pregnacy Test Positive. History Of Taking In Primolut N After Conception When Test Showed Negative For Pregnancy And Missed Periods. Help
Hello Doctor! Iam sama, i have taken Primolut N in around 4 weeks after conception as my doc suggested wen my preg test nd scan was negative. Primolut N was taken for one day (2-2-2) three times 2 tabs. and even after a month i had no periods.felt like preg. symptoms nd when tested preg test is POSITIVE! plz,plz,plz help me nd tell me if there r chances of viralization in my Baby????wat do i do? IAM EXTREAMLY WORRIED.......PLZ HELP!

Fetal organogenesis starts from 5th week onwards and completes within 12th wk.
Taking Primolut-N 6 tabs (one day course) around 4 weeks usually does not give any harmful effect to growing embryo. Possibility of virilization is quite less if you discontinued the tab after that.
Do ultrasound scan and other investigation for assessment of the fetal well being. Kindly consult with your obstetrician.

yes if you take primolut N, there is chance of baby with anomalies, but chances are small, so you can continue with pregnancy but it will be necessary to undergo periodic, regular ultrasound test at short intervals (say every month) to monitor the development of baby, as precaution.
