Pregnancy, Scan Done. Can Any Online Doctor Help Me Read This.
hi, im 28 years old and i am 27 weeks and 2 days pregnant by fetal biometry.
on my first ultrasound last august found out that i have placenta previa totalis.
then on my next ultrasound yesterday result is this: live singleton in breech presentation posterior placenta, grade II, with edge seen 4.94 cm overlapping the internal OS adequate amniotic fluid volume
what thus it mean? i just cant wait for my OB to explain this to me. im just worried and scared. thank you and God bless!
Your report suggest that total placenta previa is improving. Earlier scan report depicts that placenta was totally overlying internal os whereas in present scan it shows that only 4.94 cm of placenta is overlying internal os (placenta is posterior with grade II maturity)and improvement is due to migration of placenta with advancement of pregnancy. There are chances that it can migrate more,so that repeated scan is necessary in your case. Other findings include you have single foetus, breech presentation and adequate liqour. Wish you all the best.
