Pregnancy Test Positive After Having Unprotected Sex. Not Ready For Baby. Can I Take Mifepristone Pill?

Hello doctor, I am shilpa 29 yrs old. After doing unprotected sex, i have taken unwanted 72 after 4 hours. But still my period don t come. I have tested the pregnency and test is positive. Now what should i do, write now me and my husband don t want baby. so should i take mifepristone pill or anything else. Could u please give me some suggestion.

Hi Shilpa,

If you do not intend to have the baby, you can opt for medical termination of pregnancy.

Please consult your gynecologist, and get the medicines prescribed by her. Do not take any medicine without a doctor's prescription.

Shilpa before using any such medication you should get an Ultrasonography (USG ) done to rule out extrauterine pregnancy .Further management depends upon the kind of preganancy.Kindly get your USG done and visit a qualified Gynecologist.
