Pregnancy Tests Negative. Have Cramping, Sensitive Breast And Bloated Feeling. Delayed Periods. False Test Report?
Hi . I am concerned I am pregnant...I have all the symptoms I did with my last child. Although every test I take is negative . I am having cramping and very sensitive chest, and my belly is very bloated looking. I feel like I am. My last period was march 17th and I normally start before 28 days. Could the test be false and I am pregnant?
Hi and thanks for the query,
The symptoms you describe are probably common signs and symptoms seen in pregnancy. It is very important to always consider the possibility of a pregnancy in a female f reproductive age who has a missed period. I suggest you carry out a good pregnancy test to be very sure. Doing a blood beta HCG measurement is more sensitive and specific. Doing an obstetric ultrasound to be very sure of the contents of the womb, which is easy and less invasive could be the main advice.
It is however not unusual to observe altered menses in some women of reproductive age, but a pregnancy possibility must formally be excluded first.
Thanks and best regards,
Luchuo, MD.
