Pregnant. Amniotic Fluid Index Suggests? Is AFI Very Less?
Hi Doctor, i am 32 weeks pregnant and my Amniotic fluid index is 8.. Will it increase in following weeks or what is preterm possibility percent .. Also yest my doctor administered Betnesol injection 2 times in 12 hours because of preterm possibility.. Please advise if this AFI is very less and is it oligo hydramnious condition ? I saw from net that 5 or less is dangerous and 8 is nominal ? Please advise

Amniotic fluid index 8 is quite good.
I advice you to go for ultra sound often and watch AFI so that you may not have any chance of having
Oligohydramnious.
