Pregnant. Baby Has No Heart Beat, Pontiac Fever At The Start Of Pregnancy. Is This Because Of Legionella Bacteria Present In Water?
Just found out from my building management that legionella has been found in our water. I was pregnant up until last week when during a regular check up I was told the fetus had no more heart beat. I was in the 10th week. I was sick also with severe fever for about 5 days and with symtoms similar to Pontiac Fever at the beginning of my pregnancy. This is also my second loss in around the 9 or 10th week. Is this bacteria the cause of my miscarriages?
hi, i dont think so pontiac fever cause miscarriage because it just affects you with sympots of fever, arthralgia and etc and it will resolve by itself without any treatment also.Causes of miscarriage are so many like chromosomal, your age ,obesity ,drinking alcohol or smoking during pregnancy and so many other factors will induce misscarriages and your health is also important so consult a good obgyn practisioner for detailed check and to know the cause of your misscarriages.
