Pregnant. Diagnosed With Hepatitis C. Liv 52 Taken Previously. Can It Be Taken During Pregnancy?

Hi , Could you please give me information on weather I should be taking Liv-52 during my pregnancy? I have been diagnoses with Hep C and have researched your product and found that this natural product can help with my diagnoses. I previously was diagnose with this virus and took Liv 52 my enzyme levels came way down and I was told the Hep C no longer was showing up in my labs. My concern is will it hurt my unborn baby? Thank you for your time.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM,
After going through your history,if you are diagnosed with Hepatitis C virus and if it persists for more than 6 months it is chronic hepatitis.
In natural course this virus remains silent for many years now you have mentioned that it is negative in blood HCV antibody enzyme immunoassay or ELISA, recombinant immunoblot assay, and quantitative HCV RNA polymerase chain reaction (PCR).
If Hepatitis C is negative in your lab test just recheck to be sure.
If your liver functions are normal then no treatment is required and just follow with your Gynecologist and take treatment according to her do not take any medicine by yourself.
Vertical transmission from mother to child occurs in Please consult Good gynecologist and follow her advise.
Please Take Care.
Good Luck.
