Hi,
Primolut-N is Norethisterone and it should not be used in pregnancy. Yet, the effect of hormones on the fetus is manifested after 45 days of conception, at a stage when differentiation occurs. Use of hormones causes masculinization of a female fetus at this stage. If the drug has been used prior to this stage, it may not be of much harm, but, the progress of the pregnancy should be followed by serial sonograms and a check should be done for anomalies. Hope your query is answered. Take care.
